JOAB to deliver nearly 100 refuse collection vehicles to NordRen AS in Norway
JOAB strengthens its partnership with NordRen through an order of nearly 100 RCVs in Norway, with deliveries starting in autumn 2026.
JOAB continues to strengthen its position in the Nordic waste management sector through a major new order from NordRen, a leading refuse collection company in Norway. The deal includes nearly 100 rear-loading RCVs and is carried out in close collaboration with JOAB’s Norwegian partner Richsteen, who has played a key role in the dialogue and execution of the agreement.
NordRen AS is currently in an expansion phase after winning several new contracts, increasing the need for a modern and reliable vehicle fleet.
– This deal is very important to us. We depend on having the right vehicles in place at the right time to deliver on our contracts. Delivery reliability and uptime are crucial in our daily operations, says Anders Abrahamsrud, Technical Manager at NordRen.
The majority of the vehicles will be delivered during autumn 2026, starting in September. The investment represents both growth and renewal of NordRen’s existing fleet as the company continues to expand its operations. The partnership between JOAB and NordRen has been built over many years and is characterized by close collaboration and a shared focus on functionality, quality, and operational reliability. Through Richsteen, JOAB ensures local presence and continuous dialogue throughout the entire process, from procurement to delivery.
– This is a clear example of how long-term partnerships create value over time. Together with Richsteen, we have built a collaboration with NordRen where availability, quality, and understanding of the customer’s operations are at the core, says Fredrik Börjesson, Sales Director Waste Collection Vehicles at JOAB.
The choice of JOAB is based not only on competitive solutions but also on the ability to deliver on time and with the right quality – factors that are critical in operations where every vehicle counts.
– We have had a long and strong collaboration with JOAB, and they are a partner we trust. It is about both the quality of the products and having an open and constructive dialogue, says Anders Abrahamsrud.
The deal confirms JOAB’s position as a leading supplier of refuse collection solutions in the Nordic market.
