JOAB Gruppen AB's Chairman of the Board is the winner of the Gold Club for Western Sweden<\/h3>\n

JOAB Gruppen AB's Chairman of the Board, Bertil Larsson, has been named the winner of the Gold Club for Western Sweden 2021. The Gold Club is an award for efficient and business-oriented board work established by the auditing and consulting company Deloitte and the non-profit association StyrelseAkademien.<\/p>\n

Bertil Larsson has been Chairman of the Board of JOAB since 2012 and during his time the company has developed into today's innovative industrial company with a turnover of around SEK 1 billion. Bertil has guided the company in an exemplary manner both during growth phases and challenging periods such as the Corona Pandemic. The prize was awarded on October 21, in connection with JOAB's board meeting, when the winner was surprised with a diploma and flowers from the Gold Club jury's chairman and representatives from the Board Academy and SEB.<\/p>\n

Motivation of the jury:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe JOAB Group has carried out an extensive and purposeful journey of change: from owner-led to owner-managed, from entrepreneur-driven family business to modern industrial company in the billion-dollar range
\n- a fantastic achievement!<\/p>\n

During the chairman's time, a professional board and forward-looking board work have been established, a clear strategy has been developed, company management has been recast and sharpened, and working methods \/ processes have been developed. Towards the market, this has been marked by doubled sales, a broadened range with new products and offers, as well as a strong focus on sustainability.<\/p>\n

The work of the board and the dialogue with the management have been formalized and developed, but it is equally important that they have at the same time managed to maintain their creativity and quick decisions, although now well thought out.
\nBertil Larsson's unique strength as chairman of the board is that he understands what needs to be done and also realizes what is feasible - an important balance in the development of the family-owned company \u201d.<\/p>\n
