The first shovel in the ground in Dals Rostock

On June 18, a symbolic groundbreaking ceremony was held for JOAB’s new expansion in Dals Rostock. With an additional 3,600 square meters, the company is strengthening its capacity and preparing to meet future demands for efficiency and work environment

After several years of careful planning, the time has come: JOAB is carrying out a strategic expansion at its facility in Dals Rostock, Mellerud Municipality. The project covers a total of 3,600 square meters and includes both a new warehouse and a new assembly hall. The investment is part of JOAB’s long-term commitment to increased capacity, more efficient workflows, and an improved working environment.

The expansion is the result of three years of process mapping and needs analysis, followed by six months of intensive planning in collaboration with our partners. The focus has been on creating efficient production flows and a working environment that promotes both well-being and ergonomics.

An important piece of the puzzle has been the strong collaboration with Mellerud Municipality, where swift processing and dedicated staff have contributed to a smooth process.

Construction is underway, and completion is scheduled for May 2026. Once the expansion is finished, JOAB will be able to meet future demands with greater flexibility and improved delivery precision.
